A lot of people are prophesying really positive things for 2019 for the Church. Almost as though we are all going to accidentally fall into the promises and blessings of God without any challenges or proactive decision making on our part. What I’m picking up is that there are going to be some real challenges for the Church and believers this year, but there are some things we can and need to do about it.

I believe in 2019:

  1. You will need to build your faith or you may be swept away by the increasing tide of unbelief.
  2. You will need true intimacy with God. Do not lose touch of intimacy with God. You need regular times of worship, prayer and soaking in His presence.
  3. Your voice and convictions will be forced into silence unless you make a decision to love God and not fear man.
  4. Incredible pressure will come on the Church like never before to conform to the pattern of this world, but we must be continually transformed to the pattern of God through the renewing of our minds and surrendering to God’s will.
  5. Fruitfulness will come out of a true reliance on God, not striving, fear, anxiety, drivenness or worldly ambition.

God bless,
Ryan Rufus.
